 Effective August 4, 2009, a significant relaxation of formal permitting processes for the installation of greywater systems in California has been enacted.  These emergency measures were brought in at state level in recognition of the intense pressure on water systems.  This is a significant step forward in recognizing and dealing with the difficulties we face.  Read the full text of the amendments here.
